2014 Summer Interns
Beginning today, the Summit office is getting a little louder! We are excited to welcome our 2014 summer interns to the team. You won’t see these interns getting anyone coffee (unless, of course, they do so out of the kindness of their heart!). Instead, they have been entrusted with significant projects that will help further ministry at Summit. The internship program was designed to give interns a true taste of what it’s like to be involved in vocational ministry. These 12 interns have chosen to devote the next two months to a project that has been matched to their unique gifts and abilities. They all have very different projects, but each one has very specific goals to achieve. At the end of the summer, they’ll all have the opportunity to see how their hard work has paid off.
In addition to working on their own projects, the interns will also be learning and growing together. They will be reading 3 books (Courageous Leadership, Seven Practices of Effective Ministry, and The Me I Want to Be), observing and learning from Summit staff, and meeting weekly with their own personal staff mentor. It will be a great summer!
