The Best Way to Kick-Off the Summer

The weather is getting hot, it’s raining every afternoon, school is out, and your favorite TV show just had its season finale. That can only mean one thing… it’s summer! And what better way to kick off the summer than with a concert that’s fun for the whole family? Base Camp’s Summer Kick-Off Concert is happening on Friday, June 13th at 7 p.m. in the Herndon BCL Theater. Marco Randazzo will be playing an 11-song set, including every song off of his Get It Movin’ album. Marco is a worship leader in Large Group and has written dozens of songs for Base Camp. He’ll be rocking out to your kids’ favorite songs, including “Jump,” “We Shine,” “Inside and Out,” “Love Like Never Before,” and “Get It Movin’.”

“I’m really excited about this event because it will be the first ever Base Camp concert,” says Marco. “It will make for a great family night. Everyone can have fun dancing, singing, and enjoying music together.”

The Summer Kick-Off Concert is also a great event to invite your friends and neighbors to. Tickets are $2 per person (children under 2 get in free and childcare will be provided for them) and can be purchased online. So grab the whole family and let’s kick off the summer with a night of fun!
