The Extra Mile Update // Join Us for a Milestone in the Life of Summit Lake Mary

Summit Lake Mary families: You are invited to a special night of worship and prayer this Sunday! We have moved far enough along in the construction process that you can start to get a good sense of what God is doing in the building of this new space. We want to celebrate with you all that God has done in and through this community and look forward to what He is going to do. We will do that with a tour of the new facility, a short service of prayer and singing, and end with a milestone that has been a hallmark across our campuses in the process of building. We are excited to show off our new Lake Mary worship space and want to invite you to see it! Ultimately though, The Extra Mile is and always has been about more than a building. We are building a space where people will come to encounter God, where the friends and neighbors you have prayed for will hear that they matter and have purpose, and where our children will grow up. We want to set the tone early in this space as we live out the vision God has given this church: to form biblically functioning communities that reach lost people, connect in Christ-centered relationships, teach truth, serve others, and worship God.

So come and join us this Sunday, April 26th at 6 p.m. at the current offices/new Lake Mary worship site (100 Technology Park, Suite 110, Lake Mary).

The tour will start at 6, so please plan to arrive a couple of minutes early. We will then move into a short time of prayer and worship. The entire service and tour will last about 45 minutes.

A couple of details... Children and families are welcome and encouraged to attend and take part in this service. There will be a part at the end especially for our kids to participate in, and we want as many to attend as possible! There is no childcare available for this night, and this is an active construction site. We will do our best to make it as clean and safe as possible, but please note that the safety and supervision of children will be important and is ultimately up to the parents. Thanks for keeping this in mind!
