A Care Community is an engineered team, of 4-8 committed volunteers who support and serve the foster or adoptive family and foster or adoptive children, much like an extended family. This team provides regular and ongoing practical help such as meals, prayer, tutoring, child care, laundry, yard work, etc. This orientation is designed to teach you more about Care Communities, the different roles involved, and how to get connected with one. Though this orientation does not commit you to a Care Community, you must attend one of these orientations to be assigned to one of these communities.
