Please note that our sermons are pre-recorded due to COVID-19. We recognize the importance of the Church's voice surrounding recent events and thus are working to continue this important conversation in other channels.
“As we woke up this morning with continued reminders of brokenness, pain, and injustice in our country, I call all of Summit to prayer. While we are not yet worshiping in person, each of us—individuals, families, Connect groups, etc.—can commit today to pray as a part of how we participate in the worship service.
Yesterday, I stood on the sidewalk at the Herndon Campus and prayed with a close friend and mother of four. We prayed for our black sons. We prayed for the anger they feel and that we feel on their behalf. We prayed for wisdom, for healing, for change.
I don’t know where your prayers will take you today, but I ask you to pray.”
Sincerely,
John Parker, Lead Pastor
