We have always wanted to be a community that is known for how we love and serve others.
We don't want service to be an afterthought, or just the grateful result of success in other areas. We want it to be core to who we are.
In 2006, we came to the clear conclusion that God was calling us to partner significantly in stopping the AIDS pandemic in Africa. How we got there is a winding story, the summation of which is this: God gave us a very distinct direction in how Summit can be part of turning the tide in a pandemic that has no hope outside of Jesus Christ working through his church.

Our long-standing partners, Children of the Nations and Children’s HopeChest, offer opportunities to sponsor children in several countries around the world including Malawi and Ethiopia, two of the countries Summit teams travel to each year. A few times each year, Summit is able to host guests and students from abroad. We enjoy the opportunity to host them well which often includes them staying in Summit homes when possible. Sometimes our best intentions result in unintended consequences and even harm to ourselves or the very people we are trying to help. Using specific resources, studies, and best practices, Summit collaborates with its partners in guiding our approach to serve the vulnerable with our hearts and minds. Children of the Nations exists to raise children who transform nations by partnering with nationals to provide holistic, Christ-centered care.
Market Colors works to create sustainable incomes for men and women in areas of Africa and India that are at risk for abuse, trafficking, and extreme poverty.
Nairobi Chapel is a faith community originating in Nairobi, Kenya. Their desire is to see that each and every person that God brings through their doors has a life changing encounter and begins to live a life of purpose.
In community with the local church, World Relief envisions the most vulnerable people transformed economically, socially, and spiritually.
