Time to Relax and Reconnect

In case you missed yesterday's post, this week is all about Family Camp on the Summit blog! This year's Family Camp is just around the corner in March, and we'd love for you and your family to join us for another amazing weekend at Southwind. Doug and Naomi Foley are the parents of Hannah (9), Summer (7), Bethany (5), and Zoë (3). They were quick to tell us, “We loved Family Camp!” Here's more of what Naomi had to say about camp:

What was the biggest impact of this weekend on your family?

The biggest impact on our family was being able to bond with our Summit family, meet new friends, and spend time with each other in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

What was your favorite part of camp as parents?

My favorite part about camp was not having to cook, and therefore being able to spend more time with my family and friends.

What were your kids’ favorite parts of camp?

I think our kids would probably say it was a tie between the skit going on throughout the whole weekend [presented by the Base Camp Live! crew] and the water slide.

How did Family Camp impact your family’s walk with Christ?

It impacted our walk with Christ by reenergizing our desire to teach our children about Jesus. Family Camp is a great way to plug into your church, make lifelong friends, enjoy fellowship with others who have the same desire to know and share Christ, and have a lot of fun at the same time.

Want to bring your family to camp? Join us Friday, March 20th through Sunday, March 22nd. Family Camp is geared toward parents and their elementary through high school age kids, but all ages are welcome! Click here for details and registration.
