Standalone

As we approach a new year, we often find ourselves contemplating the year gone by and we turn our thoughts to the year ahead. In Exodus, God gives an interesting set of instructions for how an altar should be built. Considering these instructions and the spiritual reality that we are living stones in God’s Temple, we begin to see that spiritual disciplines may not be about shaping ourselves into our picture of what God wants, but rather are more about how we yield to God as he shapes us into a place (a life) where He is glorified.
