What We Say About God
Your Christ-centered community starts with you, but it doesn’t end with you — God chooses to show the world his character through how we interact with each other. It is through our celebrations and our invitations that we display for those around us a reflection of who God is. If people are watching the church and deciding something about God, what is it that they’re deciding?

WEEK 1
October 9, 2016
Kailey Newkirk
The sacrifice we make in confessing our sin before a watching world allows our celebration of God’s grace to be meaningful. It’s more important for our celebration of life change to invite the world into God’s grace than it is for us to hide the reasons we needed grace to begin with.
WEEK 2
October 16, 2016
Kailey Newkirk
Our reGROUP Director Kailey Newkirk shows us the importance of inviting others into church, even—or perhaps especially—those who are different from us. People are invited into church not solely by us as individuals, but the posture of the church itself. The church is a multi-faceted image of God, and thus our diversity is a tool to refine us rather than hinder us.
WEEK 3
October 23, 2016
When the church first began shortly after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the book of Acts tells us it enjoyed "the favor of all the people" and that "the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." What were they seeing? Would people see the same if they were to watch us? By looking at the who, what, and how of the early church, we'll see what we we're supposed to say about God to the watching world.
